How are Muck Boots sized?
Select Muck Boot sizes based on your standard
"athletic" shoe size. Muck Boots are made to
standard US sizes for men and women. Boots and shoes
are available in "whole sizes" only. True half sizes
- use the next size up. The best fit is achieved by
wearing a medium-weight athletic sock.

*This
product was tested by personnel from Clyde Peeling's Reptileland using
widely accepted test methodology. The boot was filled with
inflated latex balloons that fit directly into the interior of the boot
surfaces. A 5' Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake was allowed to
strike various portions of the boot. There were seven solid
strikes to the toe and six solid strikes to the side. In no event
did the snakebite penetrate and break the balloon when the boot was
struck up to the top of the rubber overlay. Additional manual
testing produced no noticeable penetration to any areas of the
camouflage-patterned portion of the boot. This test is useful for
general guideline purposes. Norcross Safety Products L.L.C. cannot
assume liability for injury resulting from the use of this product as
protection from snakes. The wearer must assume responsibility for
any injury incurred while using this product.
The Original Muck Boot Company™ combines the waterproof benefits of Muck Boots natural rubber along with the unique advantages of CR neoprene flex-foam. The lower portion of a Muck Boot is made with a vulcanization process that binds the molded rubber pieces together. This forms an extremely durable rubber boot sole and shell that will not cold-crack.
The CR Neoprene Flex-Foam bootie provides a flexible, slipper soft feel. Its unique closed cell material is 100% waterproof. It's covered with a 4-way stretch nylon, that's totally flexible and soft. The CR Foam is very lightweight, flexible, buoyant and will stretch to fit virtually any calf.
So, the CR Foam provides the same waterproof protection as a rubber boot without the added weight and rigid, inflexible performance of a full rubber boot. The new Woody Armor™ is coated with rubber to create a powerful, tuff outer shell that still maintains flexibility but resists punctures, tears, and bites from snakes and stingrays.
