However, after looking at the reviews I decided to get them. I had previously been worried about the breaking in and the sizing but that really turned out well. I first of all decided to size down. I normally wear a size 9.5 for dress shoes and a size 10 for athletics shoes but for the red chukka I got them in size 9. I'd size down 1 full size or half size which would depend on snugness preference and the type of socks you wear. Secondly the breaking in these boots took place in two days.
