Returns & Perfect Fit Guarantee

Muck Boots Online.com is striving for total customer satisfaction, that's why we offer our "Perfect Fit Guarantee". If your Muck Boots or Shoes don't feel just right, return them -- we'll send you a different size and pay for the shipping cost back to you!

1. If you have ordered a size and it just doesn't fit the way you want you can send it back, providing you have not worn the boots or shoes outside and they are being sent back in a clean and unused condition with all tags still attached. You are responsible for the cost of shipping them back to us. As part of the "Perfect Fit Guarantee", we will pay the cost of shipping of the exchanged pair back to you.
   
   
2. Muck Boots Online will send you a new pair and pay the freight to you. If the required size is not in stock, or otherwise unavailable, we may suggest an alternative or provide a full refund of your original purchase price, including the original cost of freight, if applicable.
   
   
3. Style changes are not covered under the Perfect fit Guarantee. They are considered returns and may be subject to the restocking fee of 20% of the cost of the item returned to a maximum of $8.00. This fee will be included in the adjustment made to your card for the price difference of the style change.
   
   
4. We will accept returns and exchanges on products within 30 days of your original purchase date. Please ship your exchange within 3 days of submission of the online return/exchange form.
   
   
5. As a courtesy, we generally ship an exchange at the time we receive the "Exchange Made Easy" form at our office. This often occurs before we receive the item for exchange from the customer. There is no charge to the customer for this advance exchange service. However, your card will be charged for an item sent to you but not paid for if the item for exchange is not received by us within 2 weeks of the date of the exchange request. Also, if the exchange is received by us in a used or dirty condition without the tags attached, it will be returned to the customer at their expense. If they already received an advance exchange, their card will be charged for the additional item received plus shipping.
   
   
6. Items returned for refund are credited the purchase price less any associated shipping costs. Items originally offered with free shipping may be subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the cost of the item to a maximum of $8.00. This fee will be deducted from the credit. Returns received in a used or dirty condition without tags attached will be returned to the customer at their expense and no refund will be issued.
   
   
7. If we have sent you a size or style that you did not order, we will pay for the return freight cost of the boots / shoes and will send you the correct item. 

Shipping & Handling Charges

We are now providing free ground shipping on all orders of $49 or more in the continental US.

All orders less than $49 will be charged a flat rate of $4.95 shipping (except Thorlo Socks, which always ship free).

All shipments, including those noted as having "Free Shipping", going to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico are charged an additional fee based on the total order weight and are shipped with USPS Priority Mail. See chart below.

In support of those serving overseas, no additional fee is charged for APO/FPO addresses.

We ship to all locations in the Continental US, and we ship to Alaska, Hawaii and all US territories.

Most products are shipped from our Johnson City, NY location within 1-2 business days (unless otherwise noted) depending on availability and time order was placed. Some products could be shipped from alternate warehouses. If an out of stock situation occurs, we will contact you to see if you want to "backorder" the item and wait for it to become available. 

We ship by several different methods, depending upon what works the best. Our primary shipping method is FedEx Ground / Home Delivery. United Parcel Service (UPS) and United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail are also used.

FedEx Home Delivery: Deliveries made Tuesday through Saturday.
FedEx Commercial Ground: Deliveries made to FedEx designated business addresses Monday through Friday.

You will receive an email confirmation when the item is shipped. Please provide a correct email address with your order.

Canadian Shipping Policy

We are not shipping to Canada at this time.

Privacy

We take your privacy very seriously. Any personal information you provide to Muck Boots Online via the Internet or through any or other medium is for the exclusive use of Muck Boots Online in order for us to fulfill your order. We will not sell this data or otherwise make it available to anyone outside of Muck Boots Online other than providing the name and delivery address to the shipper. We will maintain a database of customers addresses who opt in to receive occasional announcements of new products and services offered by Muck Boots Online via e-mail or postal mail.

Security

Muck Boots Online provides online ordering through a secure network using Authorize.Net and your credit card processor. All online transactions with Muck Boots Online are handled with industry-standard secure socket layer (SSL) encryption. Our checkout page will be titled in the URL address with https://www.muckbootsonline.com/checkout.asp, which indicates the page is secure.

When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, and securely and confidentially processed through the Authorize.Net Network. Your credit card number is never transmitted by email or any unencrypted format.

Muck Boots Online does not retain credit card information in our files. Not paper or electronic. In fact, we never even see your complete credit card number.

Muck Boots Online will prosecute fraud to the fullest extent of the law. All transactions and IP addresses are logged.

Sales Tax

New York State residents will be charged 8.00% sales tax.

Per NYS sales tax policy: (Effective June 1, 2006) Clothing & Footwear items with a sale price below $110.00 are now tax exempt.
